EM-5 is a fermented botanical plant tonic produced by combining Effective Microorganisms (EM), molasses, natural vinegar and distilled spirits with selected plant materials. Developed within natural farming systems, EM-5 is used as part of a preventative, biology-first growing approach.

Rather than acting as a chemical control, EM-5 supports balanced leaf surface microbiology and plant vitality when used regularly within integrated soil and crop management systems.

In addition to foliar use, it is commonly used in livestock environments to support odour reduction and microbial balance.

UK EM-5 is a 100% natural fermented botanical solution made with Effective Microorganisms (EM) and apple cider vinegar.

Developed for preventative use in regenerative and organic growing systems, EM-5 is applied from the time of planting to support plant vitality and balanced growing conditions throughout the season.

Unlike reactive chemical inputs, EM-5 is designed to be used proactively — as part of a consistent plant care programme.

How to Use

Dilution:
1 teaspoon per 1 litre of water (approx. 1:500–1:1000)

Shake well before use.

Application Guidance

• Apply preferably in the morning or after rainfall
• Begin applications after germination
• Use every 3–4 weeks as part of a preventative programme
• During periods of environmental pressure, increase frequency to weekly

Always test on a small area before wider application.
