VULKAMIN Granulate
Beyond NPK, embrace vital trace minerals for soil health & crop vitality.
Vulkamin is a naturally occurring volcanic rock made into a granulate. Vulkamin’s high mineral content and hollow structure makes it an extremely valuable soil improver. Volcanic Rock is also effective at capturing carbon when added to the soil.
100% natural and organic
• Remineralise soils
• Activates phosphate reserves
• Increased carbon capture
• Stabilise soil pH
Vulkamin is a ground rock silicate of volcanic origin. It is rich in Zeolites Vulkamin ,which have a special hollow crystalline structure. It is a 100% natural, raw material, containing large quantities of minerals and trace elements.
Vulkamin has many uses, but when applied to the soil, it provides a large selection of minerals and trace elements needed for healthy plant growth. Vulkamin slowly releases these minerals into the soil, providing the nutrients needed gradually over a long period of time.
As Vulkamin breaks down in the soil, it produces silicic acid, which makes phosphates available that were previously unavailable. It also supports nitrogen-fixing bacteria, and recent studies show huge carbon-capturing benefits from soil application. Vulkamin granulate contains many elements, but the main one is silicon. Silicon is the second most common element found in the Earth’s crust, but can only be taken up by plants in the form of silicic acid. Luckily, Vulkamin breaks down in the soil to become silicic acid, making it available to growing plants. Silicon is important as it increases the plant’s resistance to drought, stress and disease.
